[ She does follow, even with that "no," because even if he doesn't know where to find a shovel, she can optimistically assume this is his way of saying "but I'll help you find one". Besides, she'd rather not be left alone with the skeletons, so she sticks as close as she can to him, ducking her head every time he glances back and pretending to watch the skeletons follow behind them.
