Firo'll be working his way towards the rift, though his focus will be more on avoiding getting dragged into the battle where possible--he's searching for his missing friends and doesn't have much interest in getting involved in the main battle. On his way to the rift and once inside it, he'll stop to help fellow circle members or mermaids if they seem to be in trouble from the king's mermen.
