huh! so to clarify 2 - the merfolk (who aren't the Prince) don't even have a verbal history of their people's banishment? Does that seem genuine, or similar to a magical wipe/ Suggestion to make them never question it? (Vex is pretty good at reading people, and noticing if something's off there.)
