Somebody definitely mentioned murder, which means Sam's going to habitually ask questions about that and try to find out if it's definitely the Syndicate calling the shots and whether or not there's anything else going on with that aside from cut-throat political rivalry. Subterfuge may or may not be involved, since it's probably kind of hard to pretend to be a local. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatever gets a foot in the door.
