Connor's main initial goal will be trying to find a way to get the electricity back up and running. As a result, he'll be looking for rooms that might logically house generators, which means this android will be leaning towards doors that are much larger than average, as he reasonably assumes that such power sources will need a vast amount of space to keep a ship like this up and running. Likely situated away from any of the bedrooms/personal quarters.
Connor is quite familiar with technology and could try to hack into something not unreasonably alien in its encryptions. There is also the potential of him being able to interface with any exposed technology (like he did with the Library on Struxta); unless this still falls under "canon powers" and he'd be unable to do so. In which case... it's down to good ol' fashioned hacking, based on what he knows by way of being an android.
He would of course share his findings with the rest of the Circle, and do his damndest to get the electricity running again if he manages to find the generators.
