As mentioned to Zari, with a team of four it would take about 5 days to get the electricity in the ship up and running.
So his investigation into the large door/the sound will need to be down outside of this work. Once the electricity is working there will be a "functioning control" for the lift, yes. However, despite the controls being "functioning" as normal, no lift will appear.
There will also be a control screen outside of the lift that he will need to hack into to open the lifts in the first place as it is locked. For clarification, even with the electricity running, the doors will still be locked and will need to be hacked into before they can be opened.
