Bringing one of the bedroom screens to connect would not give you access to all of the data saved. The screen would certainly power on, and show a menu written in an alien language that Hunk does not understand. However, given Hunk lives on a spaceship and is familiar with alien tech, he would quickly understand that this screen is a program with bio data. It shows details of the person whose bed it was. While the language is foreign, you can sort of garner what it says just by guessing that some fields must be "Name:" "Age:"

You can kind of guess the last part by the background image of the screen -- it looks like some sort of mutant dolphin being on an alien world, swimming happily in purple water.
