Ren is in Exploration Group A because I wanted to make him suffer a bit by giving him back his canon powers in a situation where he probably won't be able to do much of what he'd like to do with them. And on one hand, one of his canon power's aspects will actually be pretty useful, in that it can ward off corrupting psychic influences temporarily! ...On the other hand, canon was pretty explicit about that effect screwing people up real good when they use it, to the point of it being life-threatening, so he won't be able to use it very long. And on the other other hand, the rest of his powers respond to anger, and he's likely to be pissed if people in his group start dying. So that's...fun...

Anyway, I'm down to plot some stuff! He's not up for dying because a: I'd rather avoid that so early in the piece and b: Ren is the kind of person who'd take people around him dying worse than dying himself, but I'm pretty open to stuff outside of that! Once things start deteriorating Ren's probably going to be most interested in finding and somehow ending what's causing the problem as decisively as possible, but it remains to be seen what the psychological effects of the event will have to say about that.
