Group C unlocks a series of messages -- inter-personal texts, from crew member to crew member, who had isolated themselves down below in safe spaces throughout the ship. At first, the messages are hard to put together, but eventually, the messages can be strung together to understand the following:
(1) The crew had a plan to kill whatever the monster is. That plan clearly failed, given no one is here.
(2) There are a lot of mentions of the work-out room, and the lack of gravity being able to be used as a strength against the creature. However, it's hard to really pin down what the messages are attempting to suggest as to why the lack of gravity matters.
(3) The word shadows is repeated. A lot. Intensely. Frequently. The crew focused quite a bit on shadows, and the monster's ability to apparently use them.
They also find a video, of a woman who appears to be locked in a closet. She looks exhausted, terrified, and covered in blood. Much of what she says is cut off with static and that damn noise, but you do eventually make out the following:
