[Of course, Sheryl has a completely different set of memories. As far as she knows, she's cried in front of Alto at some of the lowest points in her life-- when she'd lost everything and learned of her impending death, when she'd asked him to comfort her and he'd taken her in his arms.
That's probably going to be an awkward conversation to have later. But for now, Sheryl is just happy to wrap her arms around him as he pets her hair. Anyone else around them is forgotten. They don't matter.
She does, however, let out a loud yelp when he sweeps her off her feet, the arms around his chest very quickly looping around his neck and shoulders as she holds herself to him.] --hey!
