[ Food from home is, indeed, very tempting. Enough so that Matthias has gone out of his way to find a flower, not trusting a smile he offered a stranger to be his 'best.' What a vague judgment that is, anyway... but no matter. There are plenty of flowers around for him to pick, and when he returns to the booth finds a purple woman glaring at the payment sign. That's very odd, he thinks, but it could be a unique tailoring job if she's not a different species entirely. He's going to have to wrap his head around that, the notion of everyone being from different worlds. Literally, that is, not just it feeling that way because of cultural differences. At least he doesn't have to learn everyone's languages.

He clears his throat a little to get her attention, and offers the flower. Help him earn a meal, ma'am? ]
