Sure! You can pick any race you want. The D&D characters are not confined to their canon appearances/classes - we simply gave you guys the option of having your "canon powers" back, or you can pick a different race! How that character looks like is totally up to you. So in Nott's case, you can totally make her a halfing again that looks like her former self, if you wanted!
