Simon’s going to be a human warlock and incredibly stoked because 1) he’s been a sad robot zombie without a proper face for over a year and mourning his human existence, 2) he is a nerd who worked in a nerdy store that people almost certainly played D&D in so he will recognize high fantasy elements (vaguely, so as not to metagame, of course), and 3) he suddenly knows how to do cool shit!!

I’m considering just AUing the warlock thing as a semi-parallel to canon, wherein he formed a pact with something to be determined that promised to cure an analogous terminal condition to the one the original human Simon died from. That might be too complicated and I was considering making it even more complicated than that. I DUNNO but anyway
