Zero's not one for parties, so when word about the fires starts up, he'll be looking into it where he can.
He'll be asking the locals - mostly those directly affected by the fires - what they've seen and if they'd noticed anything out of place before the incident occurred, no matter how minor it might seem. Thankfully he's much less salty about his role as a cleric by now, so his questions (while still direct and blunt) will be more calmly asked rather than sounding like orders. After questioning, he'll be investigating the scenes themselves, mostly trying to find evidence of what could've started the fires.
If he finds any kind of indication of where another fire might occur, through patterns in the fires or other information given to him, he'll try to stake out that area to see if he spots anything. If he comes across any other Circle members during his investigation, he may try to rope them into said stake out.
