Aircraft and ships on Earth are about what you'd expect in scale. The real Black Lion sitting on its launch pad is roughly the same size or bigger than a rocket ship. Certainly doesn't look that way from inside the cockpit. But we get to cheat a little and not have to account for that because of the mental link between pilot and Lion.
