[ lorem takes a step forward, ever cautious and careful. she's always prided herself for having an excellent pokerface when faced with tense situations but this is different. lorem needs to bite on the side of her cheek to keep herself from reacting, to use the pain to distract herself from the feelings she felt. seemingly cliche as it maybe to say this, this is a situation she was not prepared for. not in a million years. it didn't seem possible after all was said and done.
yet here they are. reuniting in a strange, new world once more.
a part of her mind reminds her that she needs to be careful, that this is new territory for her without her usual allies or resources at hand. a side of her points out that she can't just-

I had a lot of feelings about my current predicament but, I think, I can call this experience extraordinary.
