He can find his investigation job at any point over his stay, so he can still have a job and save up money. It will just take quite a bit of time to save up that much. :) But he is more than welcome to help with the Library search! They would love the extra help!

Just for our sake- would he try and plug into the Library, or the Mass Subconscious, as depending on which one fries him would decide what and how much information he might have when he is brought back (if you decide to go further with this plot!).
