1. Once Fushimi proves his skills as a hacker/repair person to the androids, he'll be able to find work fairly easily -- he has a great skill set! He'll be paid modestly, because he can't really compete with supercomputers, but he'll be able to save up money for some tech with some hard work.
Hacking into anything will require a learning curve! Depending on what Fushimi hacks into (like the Mass Subconsciousness), it could fry any tech he manages to scrounge up in Struxta. But he will be able to access an amazing amount of information in read-only mode -- and when we say amazing, we mean amazing. It's immense, because everything is digitized. If he wants to get some more practical information, we suggest the Library!
2. He can definitely find something of the sort! It may take some work to save up some money, but he can definitely find a small computer on Struxta to take back with him. Keep in mind there is no electricity in the Temple, so power sources may be finite! And when you say watch, do you mean the watches Astoria provides, or one Fushimi already has? Astoria's watch/wristlet is of a magical nature, so it's not really something you can build apps on. But if it's something Fushimi wears, he can definitely modify that to his hearts content!
