There's a line in the storm investigation log that mentions it shorts out technology. Does this include technology that's specifically made to prevent electrical interference, like Geordi's visor? If that isn't possible, would it be possible for him to use his Astoria granted ability to ward off electromagnetic radiation to keep his visor safe?

I'd really rather not play with him having to deal with a sudden and complete loss of sight.
