All canon abilities are nerfed, including Persona traits! The only "traits" that carry over are natural athletic traits and the like -- so if you're a super athlete in canon, you can be one here, but magical/supernatural traits are gone. So unfortunately, Ryuji is not immune to electric damage. Sorry, friend. :(
