[Connor's noted that they have a tendency to mimic eating habits; whether or not they're actually picking up food in the process is unlikely, but he wouldn't put it past someone attempting to feed these balloon animals simply because they act like living creatures.]

In that case, maybe they're just attracted to you for some unquantifiable reason. It's hard to say; I don't have much knowledge centered around the behaviors of balloon animals.

My experience with real pigeons, however, is that they'll simply move out of the way if you walk forward.
