[its at least another half hour before he finally manages to tear himself away from tony's side. as much as the man may not know who he is, peter had found the need to cling to that note of familiarity difficult to ignore. but there's only so long that he'd been able to pretend that things were as they should be. that the looks tony gave him weren't based in the unknown. that the past few years hadn't been lived by tony yet.
