the festival of worlds.

lost (and found) in space.
The moment the monster is killed on the Horologium, an odd peace fills the air. You are not entirely certain whether or not you have won . . . you hear the whispers of the dead, and you certainly can feel the unease permeating through the air. But, for now, you seem to have done what was needed to escape the hellish nightmare that has been the Horologium.

Whatever the hell that monster was . . . it was gone. You can have a moment of rest.

However, your people are still dead. The members of the Circle who have been lost have not woken up, or been restored to their former selves. You can only pray that Astoria can fix them, bring them back, when you return to the Temple . . .

Violet has been silent for some time — she has been dismissive for the entirety of your venture now. However, she seems to have something to say: she tells you that she thinks she can get you back — and that she has to get you back. She tells you that she is complicit in your suffering, and that one day, the monster will return. When it does, it will be her burden to shoulder once again. But for the meantime, the most she can do is get you away from it.

So she heads to the cockpit of the ship. Within a few minutes, the alarms begin to sound, and a distress signal shakes the ground beneath you. It cuts through the haze and sorrow, and the speakers crackle.

"Thanks. Take care out there."

After that . . . you feel that pull in your stomach. You know Astoria has found you, through the Void, through time and space. And, just as you barely begin to prepare yourself for your departure . . . you are gone from the Horologium.

Your fourth world, as the Circle, is left behind.

THE TEMPLE OF BEGINNINGS.
Arriving in the Temple is a bittersweet affair. On one hand, it seems to have done what you needed to do in the Horologium . . . whatever beast that existed on that ship is dead, and will not make their way to any planet, any world, anywhere, ever again. Congratulations, Travelers; you have deemed the Horologium a success.

However, your dead comrades still seem to be . . . dead. At least, for an hour or two. But after that hour, those that are dead begin to come to consciousness . . . slowly. Their eyes move behind their lids, they seem to slowly begin to breathe. To those watching over them, it looks like they are trapped in a deep, deep sleep.

To those who are dead? You are greeted, in your mind, by someone . . . new.

Hello, Travelers.

You do not know who I am, Astoria has made sure of that, but I am here.

I am so sorry it has taken such violence for me to be able to reach you.

I need your help. And I believe I can give you help as well.

Please- look for me. Search for me. I am not far.

My name is Alcina...

And, just like that, the strange woman fades from your mind . . . and your eyes snap open.

Welcome back, Travelers -- both from the Horologium, and from the dead. Until the next World Jump? The Temple wishes to thank you. Enjoy the festivities, and await further instructions . . . from who? Who knows, anymore. Astoria is wandering around the festivities, eager to show the Circle the newest creation she has been working on in your absence . . . maybe you can go visit her there?
MOD NOTES.
Okay, friends. Please bear with us, because we have a lot of notes/links in this section!
➜ Please make sure to visit our Game HMD to give us your thoughts/feelings/concerns about the game!

➜ The EMP/ATP is live! Share with your friends and encourage folks to come join the Circle.

➜ The TDM is here! Reserves are open! Apps open on April 1st . . . for real, it isn't a joke!

Only those that are dead receive the message from Alcina. It is up to them to disseminate what they have found.

➜ That being said . . . feel free to ask Astoria about it -- she can be found on the TDM here!

➜ Finally, the dead will notice it takes them a bit to get back to normal. Their wounds will be healed, but it'll take about a week to get back to their full energy/normal self. You are sluggish, your muscles ache . . . you feel as if you're recovering from a particularly awful flu. Have fun with that!

As always, leave any questions down below!

Haha he's actually concerned about the non-offensive powers. You don't have to guilt Captain America into protecting people.

I'm going to tell you an unsolicited story about another game laughs.

So, I played (a younger slightly different version) Ilde in a space game where everyone was telepathically connected! And Steve was part of her little like 5-person team you get put into when you join.

At first they were like trying to be friends but then she definitely casually murdered and tortured some people and he was like HMMMMMMMM and started distancing himself from her. So she disowned him for not supporting her and beat him up a little (I mean he let her because he wasn't going to hit her back.)

So she has a GREAT HISTORY with Caps.

Yeah it's a given he frowns on casual murder and torture considering he served in a war with a lot of that happening to innocent people and then woke up to some Norse god doing it all over again..... then SHIELD trying to get him to be cool with it. Then HYDRA within SHIELD trying to recapture their glory days.

Basically all his stories make it clear why he would not be okay with that whether it's one person or a whole group haha. That's just how he rolls. It doesn't matter if it's Loki, HYDRA, or a woman he's on a team with.
