anyway slightly more seriously, Homura is a tiny, too-serious memory witch lich magical girl. She's reserved and awkward distant and more than a little prone towards skepticism of generally everything up to and mysterious figures granting magic out to people willy-nilly, but despite being blunt, pragmatic, cynical, and all those fun bad at making friends things is also squishy at heart despite being made out of willpower, self-denial, and determination. She promised to protect people, after all! And being nice is what Madoka would want anyway, so even if she wanted to be cold and standoffish she can't, really... Don't make contracts with shady entities, kids.
POWER/ABILITY: I'm mean so I basically gave her a rewind ability. She can temporarily reverse and rewind any changes that happened to an object/(part of a) person/small area that happened within a twelve hour timeframe! A broken object can be reassembled, a broken bone mended, a wilted flower freshened, but the catch is that whatever changes the affected thing in question had gone through will... still end up affecting that object later regardless, just in however much amount of time Homura had rewound by minus how long ago said affliction happened. It's not a fix, it's not a miracle cure or a healing ability, it's just delaying the inevitable ha ha ha. She heals a broken bone by rewinding it an hour? Sure, that probably gives you time as a stopgap to get that person to medical attention before it breaks again inexplicably in an hour. INTERESTED CR: listen i know it's a cop out to say anything and anyone but like, Homura is completely new to the game so like. but if we really need specifics, then sure, here's some options; someone please teach this child how to properly social, she's had like twelve years to practice and it's only gotten worse over time and barely has been improved by her previous time in spellbind; quiet deadpan snark buddies???; drag her into regular teenage girl shenanigans. do it.
but honestly like, i'll accept any kind of cr! positive, negative, slow burn, you name it! homura's not the most talkative but she's relatively tolerant and predisposed to being a better listener than an active participant in conversations, but she'll definitely attempt to. talk back. success varies. see below.
