CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Bolin CHARACTER CANON: Legend of Korra PERSONALITY: Bolin's basically a large, friendly manchild who talks a lot and is also a really good guy. He grew up homeless but was sheltered from everything by his brother Mako, so he's remarkably innocent and naive for a guy who grew up in poverty. He's the kind of guy you have to spell things out clearly to before he can understand, but he means well ...? Despite his muscular looks, his personality is more on the flighty and non-confrontational side (not a tuff guy at all), and he gets nervous easily.
He's a bit more mature in the canon point I'm taking him from, but he's still a goofball. Please be his friend. Also, he'll be coming in looking like this!

He's friendly and genial for the most part, but he's also not shy about sharing his opinions. Once he actually comes to trust someone or care about them, good luck because you'll never get rid of him at that point. He's always thinking and likes problem solving, and honestly he's just a nerd. POWER/ABILITY: Barabas is a shapeshifter in canon, and his power in acata is also shapeshifting -- but his beast form has changed, and this will leave him shook and in a bit of an existential crisis. Instead of a weremongoose like he's been his entire life, he'll be a werehyena. So. He'll have a lot of bitching about this to do. And he'll have to relearn some of his abilities. INTERESTED CR: Any and all? He will need friends and allies, because he's used to being part of clan and pack. But negative CR can be fun, and Barabas can definitely be blunt and occasionally dramatic.

But he's getting better. Sometimes his emotions and temper still get the better of him, but he's working on that too. Basically he's all fight, no flight reflex at the best and worst of times. But he tries. Heaven help him, he tries so hard. POWER/ABILITY: The boy can fly. And the boy does fly. All the time. POWER/ABILITY: In canon Haru has a Persona that lets her slam people with psychic attacks and gun them down. Fun! In Acata her given power is Telekinesis that is equivalent to her physical strength. So she's going to be working out to get swol. INTERESTED CR: Anyone is a boring lame answer, but since I'm new to the game and new to playing Haru I'll just stick with that for now. If your character likes to garden she'd love to talk about that, but also if you have experience being a rich kid who never got to have fun because of bad parents, Haru relates hard to that life. CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Mordred CHARACTER CANON: Fate/Apocrypha PERSONALITY: She's THAT Mordred from the Arthurian legends, in other words, she kind of ruins everything for Camelot. Mordred is practically the embodiment of salt and unresolved anger. Brutality is like her second nature and she never gives a warning that she's not prepared to follow through on. Having said that, underneath all that rage is just a child who never got the attention and recognition she felt she deserved from her father. She's good-natured if she doesn't have to think of her past and there is some of her father's honour in her. Apparently she can be tsundere, too.
POWER/ABILITY: Lie Detector! (someone give her a cop badge pls) INTERESTED CR: Mordred can be hard to deal with at first, but she's a good bro to anyone who's willing to be patient with her. Some older father-like figure would be fun to play out with her! Also someone smart that she can sort-of trust, because she's incapable of rational thought. INTRODUCTION: Hi, all! I'm Tor, bringing you a nerd from the nerdy game Granblue Fantasy (otherwise known as Grindblue Fantasy... yeah...) and I'm excited to be in Acata! Other things I'm into are assorted live action scifi shows, Bravely Default, Shin Megami Tensei, Nier, Dark Souls/Bloodborne, and idolish7, along with a host of other misc things.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Cain CHARACTER CANON: Granblue Fantasy PERSONALITY: Friendly, eccentric (he once took a nap on a minor god because he was tired and the god was super fluffy), and outgoing while hiding deep wells of survivor's guilt and regret. Cain is a soldier who tries to pretend at pragmatic ruthlessness yet would sacrifice his own life without blinking an eye to prevent anyone else - including an enemy - from dying. He tries, but he's too soft ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ His lackadaisical attitude hides a caring, serious side that leads Cain to shouldering problems alone and recklessly throwing himself into danger. When he's not wrapped up in srs business matters of war, he also has a bratty, childish side and likes to tease people a lot. POWER/ABILITY: Shared Healing - the power to take others' wounds onto himself and heal them by sharing the damage. INTERESTED CR: Looking for people for Cain to tease, people for him to have ideological clashes with, people to keep his dumb ass out of trouble when he inevitably goes off and sticks his nose right in the thick of it because he's incapable of keeping away from it...! CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Akira Kurusu aka Joker CHARACTER CANON: Persona 5 PERSONALITY: Akira is a seemingly quiet but in reality extremely smart-mouthed teenager who leads a group of PHANTOM THIEF REBELS known as. . . the Phantom Thieves of Heart, ooooh. He is usually a pretty chill and go-with-the-flow kind of guy, with an unassuming appearance and a (seemingly) quiet demeanor. But his sense of humor is pretty blase and deadpan and he isn't afraid to come off as extremely weird. Also, he loves puns. And bad jokes. A lot. Don't even get him started, weeps.
POWER/ABILITY: He's a ghost! SORT OF. He can turn himself intangible and faze through solid objects, although not necessarily at will. His power activates on its own as determined by the rule of funny, although if he concentrates enough he can use it willingly. It all depends! INTERESTED CR: Saying ANY AND EVERYTHING is always a cop out, but sobs, I'm extremely flexible with regards to CR and love bouncing Akira off of all kinds of personality types! Shady adults he can befriend after a short period of wariness, fellow outcasts he can commiserate with and adopt, authoritative adults he can butt heads with and sass in a defiant manner. . . rivals he can compete with. . . INTRODUCTION: Hello, everyone! I’m Melly and, as you can tell from my timezone, I’m from the future. I’m currently a graphic designer who is really into the arts and music and history, with my current fandom mostly coming from sci-fi (Transformers, IDW continuity) or period (Fallen London, Vanity Fair) series. CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Daylight vis Lornlit. That’s the short version of the name he has. CHARACTER CANON: Original. PERSONALITY:
Daylight is cheerful, bubbly, and in awe of everything around him since he fell in love with the idea of adventures and exploring the world. He sees the world around him in rose-coloured optics, his gaze starry and full of hope. Having grown up with groundbreakers and trailblazers, he's painful earnest in wanting to help others and proving himself to the legacy his family left behind.
As a result, Daylight really does believe in the idea of the Power of Friendship and Everyone Getting Along Means We Can Do Anything. That mean he's pretty naive and too trusthing of individuals at times if he likes them enough, not thinking this through at times. Combined with a hot-headed, stubborn boy in his (admittedly wishy-washy) beliefs, and you have a disaster kiddo who means well but needs to cool his heels at times. He's somebody who's trying and will always try since Daylight does give it his all, no matter what's happening.
POWER/ABILITY: Light generation! Basically can create light and it comes in two ways:
🔥 Upon touching an object, Daylight can transfer his light and cause the item to glow bright for about twenty feet in radius all around it, casting dim light for another ten feet. He can dismiss the magic or it can fade away bit itself within an hour.
🔥 Daylight generates light as the source itself! From underneath his plating and emitting it from his optics, Daylight can cast a bright light from himself and have it shine at a sixty foot radius all around him, casting dim light for another thirty feet. He can dismiss the magic or it can fade away bit itself within an hour. He probably should dismiss it of his own free will, since allowing it to burn out causes himself to become exhausted.
And though it'll often come in the the colour of purple-white, the colour of his own arc energy, Daylight will be able to turn the light into different colours if he wishes to do that. Perfect for parties.

🔥Friends!! He loves making friends and hanging out with friends and friends, period. He's loyal to a fault and will attach himself to anyone who's nice to him/spends an entire conversation with him not getting mad at how much he rambles/talks.
🔥People need to make fun of his name please. Even he thinks it's silly.
🔥People who are artists! Daylight has an artistic side to him and it primarily shows up in drawing/sketching + singing. He's a little shy in showing it but once he knows you're also a singer/drawer/something among those lines, he'd love to trade tips/sheets/materials with you. Right now, he's trying to get a better hang of sketching humanoids again since it's been literal decades since he's seen any, so help would be appreciated!
🔥People who are gardeners! Daylight has a fondness for gardening and plants - flowers, especially - thanks to his mother's love for it, so he's very passionate about the hobby. Right now he has two kinda gardens: One for his flowers and one for the plant lambs, with two being named after some of his aunties, Eps and Chris. He's also pitching in taking care of the vegetable garden that's set up in the Temple.

More info can be found about them here but a basic summary of them: Little medical drone, very cute but very grumpy in nature but they care a lot for Daylight and his friends. If you’re a human, there’s a very strong chance Meddy will be pestering you for your temperature and health status in the wake of the flu going around the Temple.

CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: It's Nier Nier from Nier, the man himself. CHARACTER CANON: NieR...surprising. PERSONALITY: Brother Nier is a lot of things, but he tends to not let people know what those things are — at a glance, he's amiable, gentle and calm but a tad inexpressive. He's quick to take care of people he doesn't know well and he'll do it to an extreme at that. He is the world's best big brother, naturally.
Beyond that, he has a few issues here and there. He may or may not have killed the entire human race. He struggles with bloodthirst and being generally combative, repressed hatred, existentialism, an awful case of being supremely self involved and the general weight of living. Basically, he's 1) a stupid yandere who loves his little sister more than anything 2) kind of a massive powder keg.
But above all, he's just the walking embodiment of human will. Brother Nier does what he wants more than anything. He's ridiculous, frankly. POWER/ABILITY: Memory reading! It works a bit like the Memory Tree from Nier itself. But basically, certain forms of physical contact will allow him to live out a select memory alongside you. INTERESTED CR: People to big brother, which is for the most part everyone — Nier is more inclined towards making friends than enemies. Even if he doesn't know you especially well, he'll likely go to extremes to take care of you or protect you. Brother Nier Will Now Die For You. He needs a reason to live, so he's absolutely fine with cleaning your room for you and holding your hand when you're scared. If you have characters who struggle with their self esteem or with being taken care of, he's the man to go to.
But I love negative CR, and I love fights, some of which he's already gotten into. Enemies are a given due to how polarizing he is as a person. I especially like playing him off characters who struggle with their humanity or senses of autonomy because he tends to push them pretty forcefully.

But only to people who need...help.... it doesn't matter what kind of help they need, but he can't teleport anywhere else. INTERESTED CR: I know everything isn't useful, but Kou's a protag so he's very flexible. People for him to sass, people who need friends since he's very persistent, people who want to learn/practice martial arts since his grandfather runs a dojo, genki types to make him sigh forever and go "yare yare" etc etc etc. ANYTHING ELSE:
INTRODUCTION: Hi! I’m Taphy. I’m terrible at introductions and I’m trying to do this on my phone. Haha! Regardless, I’m super excited to be here. I work as a Patient Advocate, so I’m one of the healthcare people. My hours are pretty set, but I tend to be more active in the morning rather at night. I love manga, comedy shows like Brooklyn 99 and Parks and Rec, and I’m quite fond of the MCU too. Uh. I love YGO and bad jokes.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Atem CHARACTER CANON: Yu-Gi-Oh! PERSONALITY: NOW WITH LESS PHONE AND MORE COMPUTER: Atem is a nerd with a savior complex, very strict moral compass, and difficulty admitting he’s wrong. He’s got jokes though!
He's also an Ancient Egyptian King who is awkward around strangers.
POWER/ABILITY: He has a tiny Osiris. Osiris is a two mouth serpentine dragon that is pretty useless but dang it’s cute. INTERESTED CR: Please make friends with him. He's ornery. So positive CR is awesome! I'm also down for negative CR since he's post-DSOD, so he won't bat an eyelash at assisting Astoria. Saving the universe from encroaching darkness is just part of his job description as a Pharaoh.
He's going to be dealing with the fact he has two very different sets of memories in his head, one being his own and the other being an entirely other character's but still his, too. It's complicated and involves possession.
Uh, he can probably teach your character to write or speak Middle Egyptian, and it's my dream for him to get annoyed enough with someone to teach them how to write "I mount butts" as a secret troll maneuver.
At first he may be seen more often at the fighting arena, getting used to the weaponry Astoria has provided and trying to "tame" Osiris. So any fun CR that spawns from that practice would be fantastic. This is actually one of the things I'm most interested in working on at first, since Atem is a military leader (and knows quite a bit about swordsmanship), but he's also very fond of actually utilizing games instead to solve his problems. A nice little inner conflict.

INTRODUCTION: I am a nerd who loves all kinds of things from all different mediums, although my RP roster has shifted back towards video game characters these last couple of years. I love me some RPGs, both western and Japanese, MMOs (I am a Warcraft lifer and a long-time FFXIV player), tabletop roleplaying and all kinds of monster-of-the-week canons. I am also a health sciences student (although currently taking the semester off) so I often will talk excitedly about lots of gross biology things, which I honestly love. I’ve been playing Ann Takamaki from Persona 5 here since the game launched, and this round I’m bringing in OG Aerith from Final Fantasy VII, who is currently trying to get over a nasty case of being stabbed.

POWER/ABILITY: he has the power to change the colors of things he touches, which, you might think is an absolutely useless ability. i'm not even going to argue that it's not. anyway, he's currently of the belief that he can only control yellow at the moment and might have defaced a building in the last world the circle visited by turning it gold-ish instead of deeply metallic like everything else in the city. currently he's sneezing rainbows because of the temple virus! let me know if you want him to sneeze on you. she's also not afraid to mince anyone who she thinks is sus and will turn her blade on literally anyone. she has a deep seated hatred towards twilights, a certain group of powerful humans within her canon, and doesn't even hide her thirst to kill each and every last one. paired with a skewed sense of right and wrong, which is ultimately black and white, she's just as easy to be considered an enemy as she is a friend. POWER/ABILITY: gravity manipulation! maverick can control the gravity within an eighteen feet diameter. her ability is all dependent on the mass of the person or object she is targeting on its mass and her mental state. so basically if she's extremely stressed she may just accidentally cause everyone to go flying or drop to the floor. CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Naoya Toudou CHARACTER CANON: Persona (The original) PERSONALITY: As another Persona Protagonist, Naoya's got his share of weirdness to him. His team basically forced his hand into becoming a professional card herder, and he has a knack for calming people. His favorite pastime is videogames, with gambling as a close second (or at least going to casino and earning money so they can buy their weapons). He's not above stealing things when it's needed to help others (may or may not have stolen weapons from a police station BUT the police station was overrun by demons so that's OKAY right) While Naoya used to be a lot more subdued, he's come out more as a guy who is ready to charge into action and help others as much as possible, especially after fighting against his shadow that ran around pretending to be his twin brother. He's a Persona user, but unlike later protagonist, Naoya is not a Wild Card, he's an Emperor, but he does have access to multiple Personas. It's just that in the earlier games everyone are wildcards.
For him the only fairy he knows is Trish who was basically overcharging them to heal them so this will be an interesting experiment. He's slept under talking trees, visited Tartarus and sings to demons, so nothing is weird just cool.
He's very likable and curious and coming from 1999, anyone in the future has access to super amazing technology. He's also coming in with his submachine gun but with limited bullets so he'll be careful before firing it off. Probably.
POWER/ABILITY: Video Game Weapon Shapeshifting - So did you ever want your character to wield and overly complicated or needlessly complex system, or just wanted your character walking around with a BFG for a mission? Well, Naoya can turn into one. The con is that while he can speak as he's a weapon, he can't move himself at all, so he needs a partner. It's a potentially useful power, but obviously it both follows a rule of cool and also a rule of 'things that can go wrong' such as the fireball rod only have two charges, or turning into a toothpick of 30 lightning charges.
But don't worry, he believes in you! (He may or may not joke about being handled too, Naoya teases a lot because his team did it to each other pretty often). INTERESTED CR: Anything and anyone! Since Persona 1 didn't have social links I look forward to Naoya actually being able to make CR with others and said new friends trying to make head or tails about his overly excited and curious nature. CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Prompto Argentum CHARACTER CANON: Final Fantasy XV PERSONALITY: Prompto is an energetic motormouth with a terrible sense of humor, who just wants to keep everyone around him happy and do whatever he can for his friends. He's fun-loving and easygoing, except for the fact that he's stressed out all the time and deeply insecure. He's getting better at managing his feelings of Impostor Syndrome, but he still has a lot of baggage and is not great at actually communicating how he really feels about things. Short and sweet: he's a mess, but he's an earnest, selfless, strong-willed mess. POWER/ABILITY: Super speed! He can now be obnoxious at astonishing rates. Prompto can move at superhuman speeds that can be difficult to perceive with the naked eye at his fastest. He also recently learned he can run up walls! Stupendous. INTERESTED CR: Friends of all shapes and sorts are always welcome! Prompto needs people who he can feel comfortable around and who encourage him to come out of his shell and open up about himself. I also love shenanigans, so please have shenans with him. INTRODUCTION: Hello everyone! I'm Robyn and I live in sunny California, though previously I lived in cold and windy Chicago. I mostly talk about fandom and plurk fanart of stuff I like, which is varied but rn I'm most likely to talk about NieR: Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Steven Universe though Bojack Horseman and the Good Place are coming back soon and I'm fuckin hyped. She's not much of a talker, and when she does talk it's blunt and to the point, or rude, or frustrated an impatient. She's gotten into three fights so far and has been here like, a month. She's a fugitive and has a great deal of combat related trauma, and is constantly wracked with both guilt and grief, and both of those things are unresolved.
Underneath all that she detests fighting, though it is all she knows, and is actually quite kind and emphatic. It just takes a while. POWER/ABILITY: Emotional Manipulation! Specifically A2 can augment emotions based on her own. Right now her ability resembles that of her Taunt in canon, which enrages opponents and gives both her and them a power boost, and eventually as she gets in touch with emotions that aren't "anger" or "existential despair," the power will evolve some. INTERESTED CR: Did you need negative CR? Because I'm here, there's a 90% chance cr with A2 will be Bad. Other than that, I am trying to develop her natural inclination to protectiveness into positive cr, so if you are interested in a gruff big sis A2, I am also here for you. More androids/robots/machines! Specifically those that will challenge her pov on what androids are "supposed to" be like, and to that point, more humans that will do that as well. A2 has programming that gives her an aversion toward causing harm to human beings, and bounces between love and worship and disgust and resentment of humanity, so any character that would ping her either positively or negatively in that sense would be welcome. PERSONALITY: Arenvald is a gentle giant with a heart of gold and a Tragic Past that he has more or less risen above. He still struggles with some self-worth issues and has a need to prove himself, but for the most part he’s pretty even-keeled and gets along with most everyone.
He is basically made of sunshine and everyone should love him tbh.
POWER/ABILITY: Speaking of being made of sunshine, Arenvald has sunshine powers! He can glow and give off heat to varying degrees. He’s still learning how to control it and what his limits are, but at least he doesn’t spontaneously start glowing when he’s embarrassed anymore, so there’s that.
Arenvald’s canon power is something called the Echo, which involves the ability to involuntarily see another person’s past. In the event that we go to a world where canon powers are available, I have a permissions post for the Echo. If you’d like, please do check it out and drop your yay or nay there!
INTERESTED CR: I don’t wanna just say anything but… anything. Arenvald is very friendly and always willing to help so he’s very easy to build a friendship with. It takes a certain sort to really get under his skin, but it’s not impossible, if negative CR is more your jam.
Arenvald is also in need of sparring partners! Gotta keep those combat skills sharp, after all. On that same note, if your character would like to learn how to use a sword, he’s pretty well-equipped to teach them!

Likes food, pranks, and lazing around.
May or may not actually be Agni, god of fire, billions of years old, and ruler of Hell, meaning that the silliness is largely a lie, but shhh, don't tell. Fortunately, he's still generally a good guy at heart and very dedicated to his duty of protecting the universe. He firmly believes in humanity's autonomy and whatnot and doesn't care if you have blasphemous thoughts, so he's a very chill god!
POWER/ABILITY: He can detect the location of sad people! Basically, if you're suffering in some way, he can either find you by thinking of you or just at random. INTRODUCTION: I like to sleep, eat, watch anime and read. I like to cook too, though I can't claim to be great at it. I'm also a MSTie (a fan of MST3K) and I love Star Trek along with several survival horror series.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Elizabeth Bennet CHARACTER CANON: Pride and Prejudice. Specifically the 1995 A&E TV miniseries production.
PERSONALITY: Elizabeth is not afraid of anyone, no way and no how. She's know for her love of being witty, along with verbal jousting when she can. Given she's from early 1800s England, many of the social moors and things she considers right and proper might be a touch outdated compared to the others here. However Elizabeth is not one to shy away from things she doesn't know and makes friends easily with her playful attitude.
POWER/ABILITY: Elizabeth has a healing ability that allows her to heal not just living beings but objects on touch as well. Anything completely destroyed she can't repair just as anything that dies she can't heal. Smaller objects/creatures may be healed fasted, bigger ones and more severe wounds taking hours. In general her touch gives a sense of wellness and good vibes to anyone who isn't injured or very sick.
INTERESTED CR: I'm here for all of it! Give me your folks from all walks of life. I want Elizabeth to learn a lot about different worlds and different things! Also if you have curmudgeons or those who like to argue, she'll be happy to verbally spar with you.
Connor thinks that Elizabeth is friendly, witty, and very helpful! He hasn’t forgotten the aid she gave him (and he never will), so he feels indebted to her, too. He’d probably make an effort to check up on her every once in awhile, which would give me a great reason to continue fostering this new CR they have!
