snow log plotting!

Hello Acatalepsy! Eon here. I had something really urgent come up IRL that I had to handle over the past week, apologies for the wait on tags! I will be hitting all of them back today. If you would like to end our thread or handwave out an ending, please let me know.

Which brings me to the next thing:


In the first week of October, I plan for Boreas to use his magic to create a small area of snow within the Temple's quadrangle. It will last for the whole day where people will be able to use it to build snowmen, skate, or do assorted wintery things. His magic is flickering but he's going to try his best

I will put up the log but in addition to that, I have some questions to poll everyone. What sort of activities/setups would you like to see for the log? Boreas himself can contribute the snow, but he will need help from others to make the day a full winter fair.

Current suggestions include a small hill to potentially be converted into a sledding hill, but that would need the fabrication of sleds. We could also have a wintry ball but that depends on character sentiments and whether y'all feel like dressing up for the evening. What do you think?

If anyone's characters would like to contribute (with games and food or whatever they feel like volunteering), please let me know and we can coordinate something. This can be a log to encourage more CR formation and sharing of skills.

EDIT since we have a caving event now, I'll be pushing this back to about october 10th thereabouts.

but jokes aside the winter ball sounds like a doable idea, though I'm not sure if the coven members will have dresses to go around in... but THEN AGAIN maybe just trying to tidy yourself will suffice tbh. maybe he'll sprinkle snowflakes on all the attendees, it's ~magical~

Hello hello hello!

I'll holler at you for one-on-one stuff soon since I'm kind of busy this weekend but - Wanted to let you know that I'd love to help out with this + have pitch in in making stuff.

Daylight will be more than happy to contribute to the event. Maybe he can make signs for where one can go for certain activities? Or if sledding is a real possibility here, decorate whatever is going to be used to go down the slope.

having some arts and crafts is a nice resting activity I think!

Since we have a cave log now, I was thinking of pushing it back somewhat to sometime after the exploration so that our characters will be well-rested for it + they could do the decorating while they recover from whatever we're gonna discover in the cave. How about it? :D

I'm down with that. I think that's a good compromise with the log coming out tomorrow, and gives people more time to plan what they want their characters to do in the snow.
