Hi, fellow Circle Members!
In a time long past, Roy
asked the Circle what to do about Akvos. A lot of the IC suggestions he got was to create a listing of power-based teams every world jump, in order to put people in contact with one another!
This is strictly voluntary, but he will send out a message to
every member of the Circle with the following:
(1) A summary of his first network post, for members of the Circle who were not there, and an additional mention of his latest network post with Maes.
(2) A brief summary of what happened in the Horologium and Akvos . . . AKA, the Horologium was a nightmare where members of the Circle were killed, and Akvos was destroyed and consumed by darkness. The stakes are real, people!
(3) Directions to Maes' and Barabas' office, where characters can read up on past worlds and also volunteer their powers in a census! Again, this is strictly voluntary!
And, last but not least . . .
(4) A sign-up to offer your supports/organize with fellow team members for the incoming world jump. ICly, the characters have some idea what is coming, but the Circle tends to run on a quasi-regular schedule, and Roy knows another world is coming . . . so being proactive is better than not!
Again, signing up for this type of thing is really just going to give Roy an idea on who can do what, and put people in contact with one another with similar abilities! He wants to be more organized than not with the incoming world.
AS A NOTE: Please consider Roy connecting you with other characters a handwaved venture. He will absolutely be sharing this list with everyone involved who comments on it, so if you comment under "volunteer," assume Roy has provided you with a list of "students" to maybe reach out and teach. He wants people to not die, okay. Let's work on not dying this time.
Happy travels, Circle members! And ICly, this would have gone out right before the actual jump to Faerun. Roy doesn't know that the Astoria-granted powers will not be functioning, but thinks keeping in touch with folks with similar abilities is a useful exercise nonetheless.
And, unfortunately for Roy, his player is also a head mod, and was busy writing like she was running out of time instead of focusing on his ventures. Please don't hold it against him. ;)
