INTRODUCTION: I never know what to put here, uh. Hi, I'm boring and I like dumb things. (I was in Spellbind for a while with Alphonse Elric so I think I've actually played with a lot of people here before, so... hello again!)
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Takeru Takaishi CHARACTER CANON: Digimon Adventure tri. PERSONALITY: If you're not tri. familiar, you may remember this charming kid from the dark ages of 1999. Now they're teenagers and everything is (more) terrible, yay. Takeru is a veteran universe-hopping world saver and serves as his team's resident Hope Kid, so he's every bit as friendly and extroverted as that implies. (He can't even stand next to someone on an elevator without stopping to chat them up, it's awful.) Beneath the surface he's got all kinds of issues, since it's a proud Digimon tradition to bring up his problems and not really... work through them.
He's also the crown prince of purple fedoras and an all around fashion icon (no). POWER/ABILITY: Light energy constructs because something something Blue Lanterns and hope. INTERESTED CR: Obligatory open to everything answer! But as for specifics: -older sibling types, he's a pretty quintessential little bro -but he can also play mentor and is pretty genre savvy about RP conventions thanks to Adventure being what it is, so people who would benefit from that kinda thing ("people who disappear are fine, let me tell you about this one time...") -people who have lived the Chosen One life, especially if they're Tired of it by now -negative CR is great! it's not Digimon if kids aren't punching their way to friendship -on that note, people who will call him out/hold him more accountable than his canon friends do! he responds really well to realtalk -people disturbed by otherwise friendly kids being really down with murder? uh -people to teach him fighting skills so he won't die in two seconds without Angemon -you're all going in his novel, so you might as well tell him your weird life stories now -idk please adopt him, he's useless ANYTHING ELSE:
That said! Wash has a habit of adopting people, especially kids, and he can definitely teach Takeru to fight (and realtalk him whether he likes it or not).
It's been about a thousand years since I watched anything Digimon, but I'd be curious to have these two meet! Firo is missing his adopted little brother from home and would be happy to help someone brush up on their fighting. He also is very not genre savvy when it comes to RP conventions, so maybe they can swap knowledge.
Awesome! If you have any impending top-level plans, I'll keep an eye out--otherwise, I'll probably have something up for Firo at some point in this event.
