INTRODUCTION: Hey I'm Ca and I'm brand new to this game!! I haven't played Tony in a game setting in years so I'm really excited to get all the cross-canon CR and collect you all. He'll want to get started right away on all manner of projects so I'll be sure he gets out and lets everybody know Santa's in town. As far as tagging habits go, I own a business so I can be sporadic. Most mornings & evenings I am tagging, the afternoon tends to be when I'm busy with work. Tuesdays are my Fridays and Fridays are my Tuesdays so Friday & Saturday I may not tag at all. The rest of the time I try to get in at least one round a day! Feel free to PM me if you need something expedited, and if a thread has gone unanswered for more than a week please get in touch before backtagging, I may drop it otherwise.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Tony Stark CHARACTER CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe (he's from Age of Ultron, for those familiar.) PERSONALITY: Tony is an INTP who many describe as "eccentric." He isn't unkind but he can come off abrasive and isn't wholly sure how to relate to people, especially at first. He gets along best with other math and science types, but as long as you can keep up with his rambling he isn't too picky. He does have an inherent altruism and will want to help the people here even if he doesn't seem like the friendliest dude. POWER/ABILITY: Tony has no abilities in canon, he uses arc reactor technology to power exoskeletal suits aka He'S IrON mAn. Without the arc reactor or any type of mats here to construct it he's just regular old Tony. Astoria gave him the magical ability to control the weather, something he won't realize until he's sad (inevitably) and a lil raincloud appears over his head like Eeyore. This ability is limited to 30 cubic feet surrounding him and will last for up to one hour until he learns to harness it to his will instead of randomly reacting to his emotions. INTERESTED CR: Literally all kinds! Tony is well-suited to Negative CR because he is argumentative and always believes he's right (at first.) With that said he's learned a lot of humility and is much better at working on a team than he used to be. I would love a wide variety of CR types, from slightly protective to IDC WHAT HAPPENS TO THAT GUY HE'S A DICK. ANYTHING ELSE:
i love tony and would like any kind of cr with him with either this gal or katara... both girls are stubborn for different reasons so they could be good for arguing?? or for him to be protective at idk WE'LL SEE
hajime is basically a superhero who deals with aliens who come to her city. she's kind of an oddball cause she can be really hyper and very talkative?? she's like katara in the sense that she's opinionated and believes in the GOOD of people but she shows it in more... exaggerated ways..... she a good girl
Hey, how about an abrasive old man who doesn't like technology? That plus the way Hank's sense of humor feels like it might be similar to Tony's makes me really want to look out for opportunities to throw these two together and see what happens. I'd love for them to meet.
Yeah it really is. I'm leaning toward expecting negative CR from them but with these two there's no way to tell. XD I feel like sparks of some kind will probably fly. I hope they will.
I feel like Maes Hughes and Tony Stark would be an interesting combination...and while not a math/science type he IS pretty intelligent and would at least put on a good show of listening and acting like he knows what you are saying.
However, I also just app'd Hunk who, while a teenager, has a strong background in math/science. He's into mechanics and engineering so he'd just LOVE to talk shop.
If nothing else Hughes will be a fellow adult (I haven't looked at the breakdown, I just know in most games I have been in there tends to skew towards teenage characters). And I just love MCU so I will find whatever reason to get CR with that cast! 8D
York has his armor so that could be a good opener? I expect they'll get along gangbusters pretty quickly and wind up in ridiculous shenanigans... also the Eeyore cloud thing is gonna be great dsgklkgfaf.
hi ca, welcome to acata! I'm jamie with mercy here from overwatch, who is a combat medic/trauma surgeon/nanotech developer and I've heard so many wonderful things about you from ame and your frank! I'd love to see how these two might get on if you'd be interested in giving them a go! angie's pretty patient and playful, and would always appreciate another tech-inclined mind to bounce off of even if she's far milder than, say, bruce. lmk and I will absolutely keep an eye out on somewhere to tag!
oh my gOD AME TALKIN BOUT ME. i considered frank for this game but tony's reaction to magic is much funnier and it made my decision akhjdldj. i think i'm gonna tag into that new mingle post thing today if u wanna watch for a TL there i'll post it in the disco if you're on that!
SHE ONLY SAYS ALL THE BEST THINGS she's the sphinx of truth ok, I trust her with my life!! and no that's a totally fair way to make a decision, I apped angie because I want to get her into nitty gritty survival first aid situations where she can't be a lazy ass and rely on her healing staff which she now has to fix after it shorted out on robot world's thunderbolts & lightning (very, very frightening).
