PERSONALITY: King Arthur's advisor and general guide who ended up a shutin on the other side of reality. A half-incubus magician who seems good natured and refreshing but is likely to be the source of trouble half the time. A self admitted slacker and trickster who's older than you can guess, despite his young looks. An incurable flirt who's in love with humanity and wants to see them grow to their best and brightest always. Full app here.
POWER/ABILITY: The power to strengthen a person's best traits temporarily or three people's best trait. Your support mage for an adventure.

Note: I am not using the TDM as canon. Merlin will be arriving brand new and with no answers. That said!

Those he can persistently question/take a casual interest in, because he likes being able to be surprised and hear about new things.

People who wouldn't mind showing off their powers - a mage is always going to be curious about new magic.

People who aren't going to buy into what he's selling. He's sometimes just outright shady, and it's fun to play with.

Can he con someone into making food for him? Because he'll try.

Anyone else who's got an interest in drawing and art - Merlin's going to end up drawing places he's been, and it'd be nice to get him to share those!

Please note I accept any and all negative CR! You never need to ask before calling him out.

That said, with positive CR, friendly is loved! You're just never going to hear him utter the word "friends."

ANYTHING ELSE: He has a roast page that's eternally a wip. Also, the writers called him "pretty boy Gandalf", and that says more than I could.

The prospect of Merlin being big brothered is hilarious to me so naturally it has to happen

Cain is also a good person who's sometimes outright shady so it might be fun to throw them together and get them into trouble? I can't promise keeping Merlin out of trouble because Cain is the type to also be the source of trouble but hey, who needs to stay out of trouble, right? Right??

ngl troublemakers causing problems is some of my favorite cr to play so i'm wholeheartedly looking forward to putting these two together.

I WANT THEM TO BE FRIENDS.... Wintersmith/Boreas claims to be a half-dragon and I would like them to be grandpa-style friends

just don't be surprised when he's a huge jerk out of nowhere...

Ludger vacillates between being easily conned, recognizing he's being conned but going along with it anyways because why not, and backflipping away from his problems, so I have no idea if Merlin would con him or make him flee in terror

also he cooks good, which i hear may be of interest to him

listen the more people merlin can get to feed him and thereby make less work for him, the better

She can mimic any instrument or sound she's heard before and put them together however she wishes. So mainly, at first she'll be playing a lot of her old hits. But after that, as long as she's heard an instrument before... the sky is the limit!
