I'd love to keep this CR going. I'm enjoying the negative-ish CR too much to want them to start getting along too quickly (unless that just naturally happens), although I'm thinking that might more or less happen eventually, if Hank ever starts letting himself bond with Connor. If/when that happens he's absolutely going to treat Arenvald like a sort of inlaw, got to at least try to be polite to them. But in the mean time I'd love to see them maybe thrown together by some situation where they have to work together, or something.
hajime is basically a superhero who deals with aliens who come to her city. she's kind of an oddball cause she can be really hyper and very talkative?? she's like katara in the sense that she's opinionated and believes in the GOOD of people but she shows it in more... exaggerated ways..... she a good girl

Note: I am not using the TDM as canon. Merlin will be arriving brand new and with no answers. That said!
Those he can persistently question/take a casual interest in, because he likes being able to be surprised and hear about new things.
People who wouldn't mind showing off their powers - a mage is always going to be curious about new magic.
People who aren't going to buy into what he's selling. He's sometimes just outright shady, and it's fun to play with.
Can he con someone into making food for him? Because he'll try.
Anyone else who's got an interest in drawing and art - Merlin's going to end up drawing places he's been, and it'd be nice to get him to share those!
Please note I accept any and all negative CR! You never need to ask before calling him out.
That said, with positive CR, friendly is loved! You're just never going to hear him utter the word "friends."

Curmudgeons you say? You said hi to me a little while back and I am still so here for them meeting. The 'likes verbal jousting' thing and her potential to see some things as 'right and proper' that Hank won't feel like it could combine into some pretty interesting CR. Please give Hank a friend with a sense of humor who won't take any of his shit.

INTRODUCTION: Hi my name is Erica. I'm a high school English Teacher who has been RPing for far too long. I have too many fandoms to name, but aside from the obvious ones I love Legend of Korra, scifi/fantasy novels, Marvel movies, My Hero Academia, and baking shows. I also love to cook and read in my "spare" time.
I have TWO characters now, so I'm going to space them apart...
I can't stop laughing at "very seriously stuff that is important to know about Hank" and then "vomit" (I know it's due to his canon point but god)
Anyway Naoya has a dead twin sibling that died around Cole's age being hit by a car so you know that might be fun especially if you think that Naoya's power of being able to turn into any type of weapon (like a gun) might accidentally trigger his emotion thing if Hank is using him for a fight or something.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Hunk how does he not have a canon last name CHARACTER CANON: Voltron: Legendary Defender PERSONALITY: Laid back when he's not panicking or worrying about the latest trouble his friends have dragged him into, super friendly, mechanical/engineer minded (aka super smart), super friendly and kind...but will throw down for friends, good judge of other people's character, will bake cookies for you POWER/ABILITY: Healing Hugs Touch. Hunk is able to heal what ails you! He can only use this ability if he physically touches the person. The more intense or extreme the injury, illness, or fatigue the more contact is required. This could mean that he has to touch you longer OR that he has to touch more of you. So he restores a little HP if he taps you (or gives you a quick high five) or fully restore your HP if he gives you a hug. INTRODUCTION: I'm Kira, and I'm about to head into work for retail! I'm more into video games than anime/manga because I suck at sitting still. I plurk about games like Nier, FF, Tales and other RPGs while there's a mix of other stuff in there too like T.V shows. I tag at a decent pace now that I've finally stopped moving.
CR MEME CHARACTER NAME: Kainé CHARACTER CANON: Nier PERSONALITY: An actual pain in the ass that would roll over and die in mud than ask for help tbh. Kainé has been and gone through some nasty shit so she's super hard to get along with. Oh, she also swears a lot and uses foul language because thanks g'mom. She's rough around the edges and isn't easy to befriend because she is a blunt person.
But! She is also a lovely, caring person on the inside. She just refuses to show it because every time she has been nice to someone, they find out she's different to normal people (she contains both male/female parts due to a programming error in the system that created her). It's something she won't ever mention though, too much bullying from it. She's counts herself as a woman though -- it's why she dresses how she does. POWER/ABILITY: ainé will be able to control and manipulate ice. She will quite rocky/out of control with it at first, as she needs to have better control of her temper. The calmer Kainé is, the better she can use it. It will also be more powerful when she's able to let her barriers down and get closer to people, becoming less 'icy' to them herself. INTERESTED CR: I want it all. Kainé has just shown up so she's ready to make friends, enemies, family, and all that jazz. ANYTHING ELSE:
